New Business In The New Economy
The Intelligent New Business Survey is now in its 8th year - and this year with our new government talking candidly of an 'age of austerity' - we wanted to get to the crux of what we all need to do to make sure we reach our targets in 2010 and beyond. For 'New Business In The New Economy', our team of researchers conducted in-depth, qualitative interviews with over 100 key decision-makers at blue-chips and government departments in order to establish a complete picture of what guarantees new business success with the brands we all want to win. Of course, by now we all know the importance of tailored and relevant new business approaches, so the questions this year focused on: -
- The importance of social media as a tool for winning new business
- The areas of marketing that are going to be under most scrutiny in 2011
- Winning tactics in face-to-face meetings and beyond
- Where investments are most likely to be made in the year ahead
The findings were presented at a packed seminar at The Groucho Club, Soho, on 8th July. Companies attending included: Taylor Nelson Sofres, Jack Morton, Isobel, Fishburn Hedges, Schawk, MEC Global, Dentsu, Carat, Momentum and Lambie-Nairn.
